Questions:

1.q. Do you talk with each other about what pictures you're going to take?

a. No. We don't talk about our photographs, and we don't plan them. Certainly if Steve's in the kitchen and I'm in the kitchen and he's photographing a pineapple, I'm going to notice. I try not to let that influence my photograph. Usually even if I did let it influence my photograph, it wouldn't matter, because I can't be smart enough to preconceive the connections between the two daily photographs. I also make sure that I have chosen my photograph for the day -- and don't tell Steve -- before he chooses his. This way we have less of a chance of influencing one another, and then the chance connections between the photographs can happen all by themselves.

2.q. Do you really take the picture on the day you say you do?

a. Yes. At times, one of us may take a picture on the night before our day's posting once our photo for the day has already been posted. So then it would be the night before the day's posting.

*******

3.q. How often do you post?

a. We usually post every week day. We do take photographs during the weekend, but we don't post them until Monday so that we can relax.
